Then & Now
Whether your farm is 40 acres or 15,000 acres, we know that is the most important soil in the world to you. Back in 1988 very few scientists and growers in agriculture were talking about beneficial soil microbes. Advanced BioTech was developing a complex formulation that has become “The Optimum Food for Microbes”. Proven in fields during our 30 years of working with clients, there were many, many changes to their soils. You can take advantage of the MultiFIX formulation to make your nutrient and pest management program be more efficient.

How MultiFIX Helps You
The Authentic MultiFIX® Formulation
MultiFIX is designed to increase and enhance microbial activity in the soil. MultiFIX is a liquid nutrient in a soluble form that provides soils and plants with many of the necessary elements required for optimal health and growth. It provides trace elements and nutrients which improve the general soil and plant condition and are valuable supplements to soil and foliar fertilizer programs-particularly where there are deficiencies and problems in the uptake of primary nutrients and trace elements from the soil.
Beginning in 1988, through the enhancement of microbial activity, we continue to see results such as increased plant nutrient uptake, improved soil quality, i.e. better water holding capacity, healthy plants, superior crops and above all, increased income.
How Does It Help Grow Better Vineyard Crops?
Improve Your Soil
With MultiFIX the soil is active and living making it easier for the trees to adjust and obtain the necessary nutrients for optimum growth and production. Give yourself the LOW COST and effective solution. MultiFIX your new trees today. New trees undergo a considerable amount of stress during and after planting. The trees must adjust to their new environment and develop enough roots in order to survive. This means that the environment (the soil) must be suitable in order for the trees to exist and thrive.
Living soil indicates a healthy soil, yet many agricultural soils could use a boost. Certain tillage practices and chemical applications can limit the size of the microbial population. The need to build up the number of microbes is vital and can be very rewarding and profitable. Fortunately, there is a low cost and simple way, MultiFIX. The formulation of MultiFIX increases soil microbe reproduction ability by supplying the organisms with their essential growth nutrients. Other additions to the MultiFIX formulation will stimulate and extend root growth to reach for even more minerals and water.

Better water penetration/holding capacity
And many other benefits
Plant Nutrient Uptake
The MultiFIX product is designed to increase and enhance microbial activity in the soil. MultiFIX is a liquid nutrient in a soluble form that provides soils and plants with many of the necessary elements required for growth. It provides trace elements and nutrients, which improve the general soil and plant condition and are a valuable supplement to soil and foliar fertilizer programs – particularly where there are deficiencies and problems in the uptake of primary nutrients and trace elements from the soil. Through the enhancement of microbial activity, we have been seeing results such as increased plant nutrient uptake, improved soil quality, i.e. better water holding capacity, and above all, increased profits.
Better Water Penetration and Holding Capacity
Water, air, nutrients and growing space are soil requirements for citrus. Sufficient growing space is also needed for roots to explore the soil for these ingredients. Aiding in this area are the soil microbes. These microscopic organisms bond soil particles together through the excretion of sticky gums and form aggregates that increase the soil air space. By increasing the soil air space, the water holding capacity is improved, soil oxygen levels are increased and the tree’s fibrous root system has more room to obtain the necessary water and nutrients for growth.
Release of Soil Tied Up Nutrients
Microbes benefit greatly in other areas as well. They convert and release nutrients through their complex nutritional cycles. One of the main factors triggering these soil and plant benefits is the amount of microbial nutrients present in the soil. Generally in farm soils today, microorganisms exist, but are inactive because of the scarcity of the nutritional requirements.
Fortunately, there is a low cost and effective product that feeds and activates these organisms called MultiFIX. The product MultiFIX activates these microbes by supplying them with their most essential nutrients. MultiFIX also contains natural root stimulating hormones, B-vitamins and other nutrients to benefit the soil and plant as well.
MultiFIX is a tool that fills the missing link in orchard nutrition today – and much, much more. Add this product to your nutritional program and notice the difference!
Method of Application
Apply 1 to 4 quarts MultiFIX per acre, two to three times a year with regular fertilizer or herbicide applications. MultiFIX may also be applied as a foliar feed because of its B-vitamin and micronutrient content. MultiFIX may be applied through drip, micro or flood irrigation systems.

Vines
One of the Best Products for Quality
Wine, Raisin, Table Grapes
With MultiFIX as the only variable on numerous trials, vineyards have produced an average of $200 to $800 per acre additional income with increases in yield and quality. Variety and yearly market price dictate income. A 3% to 15% additional yield is a realistic expectation with MultiFIX added to a prudent fertility program.
Effects of MultiFIX on Vines
Wine Grapes
Tonnage of Chardonnay was 4.56 (12.59 pounds per vine) versus 6.24 (17.21 pounds per vine) with MultiFIX applications.
Raisin Grapes
Minor elements converted to usable forms in the soil allowing better uptake by the plants. Petiole tests indicated deficient amounts of minor elements prior to MultiFIX treatment and were adequate after one year of MultiFIX applications.
Nematode counts were significantly lower (80% fewer) where MultiFIX was applied compared to vine rows not treated with MultiFIX after two years of treatment.
Leaf burn occurred every August in alkali areas. MultiFIX applications were initiated three years ago. Results indicate no burn the last three years in alkali areas.
Earlier sugar was present in grapes treated with MultiFIX. Picking accomplished 10 to 30 days sooner than other growers in the area. Grapes dry faster and maintain excellent quality.
B grade is 4 points higher the first year in side by side comparison with MultiFIX.
Table Grape
Flame seedless had higher sugar content and grapes had more crunch from firmer skin with MultiFIX applications. Grapes were larger in MultiFIX treated area.
Kiwi
Vine growth is more vigorous. Approximately 20% additional cane and leaf. Brix averaged 8.4 with MultiFIX and only 6.1 from non-treated blocks. Fruit was larger with MultiFIX increasing tray count by 128 per acre over the control.
