Major Water Savings of 33% on Irrigation

Irrigation Water Saving of 33% with MultiFIX®

For the 40 acre block, I’m saving at least 64 acre-feet of irrigation water. I was able to change my watering from 24 hours 3X per week to 48 hours 1X per week.

My PCA is impressed with the look of the healthy trees. Then my processor rep was happy with the larger sized nuts compare to other orchards.

Regarding electrical, I’m probably saving $800 a week depending on the on and off-peak hours and there’s also 3 pumps that I use and each one uses different power. This varies so it’s a bit complicated to get the exact amounts.

"Instead of watering for 72 hours, it's now 48 hours a week!"

Proven Water and Power Savings Offset Costs

Discover how MultiFIX can revolutionize your farming operation by reducing irrigation water, time, and lowering energy costs—all while improving the health of the trees and size of the nuts for a heavier crop.

Jose has proven savings of 64 acre-feet of water on a 40 acre block of Pistachio trees in Central California USA. He achieved these remarkable results by irrigating 33% less simply by applying MultiFIX® to that orchard. The electricity costs reduction is $800 per week which more than offset the price for the dark blue MultiFIX Formulation.

Sonny’s neighbor & long-time farmer converted decades of alfalfa crops to these nice Pistachio trees. The 12-year-old trees now use 480 gallons of water per tree per week. MultiFIX® is in his plans for lowering NPK and water costs.

Sonny’s trees are thriving even with irrigation pump and flow issues choking back the amount of water applied.  MultiFIX® is the only variable that would create conditions for these trees to rapidly grow with only 12 gallons of water.

Third Leaf Update

Fourth Leaf Update

As the trees continue to grow, the amount of water has been increased from 12 to 54 gallons per week. There are changes in soils and plants that cause more efficient use of water where MultiFIX is applied.

While all the mechanisms are still being studied, the actual amount of water is significantly less.

This almond and wine grape grower from Fresno county has 640 total acres for his farming operation. One year, his irrigation water well went dry on an 80 acre block of almond trees. Here he describes the condition of the trees and nut crop through the 45 days without irrigation water. Half of the 80-acre block of trees had been treated with the formulation of MultiFIX® through the irrigation system. The 40-acre control block of non-treated trees had brown leaves and were extremely stressed. The 40-acre block of MultiFIX® treated trees survived the incident very well, maintained functioning green leaves that perform photosynthesis to built sugars in the whole plant and crop. The dry water well occurred during the middle of summer with heat in Central California at temperatures exceeding 105° Fahrenheit. without water for several weeks, until he was able to irrigate them. .
